SINGLE TICKET

It can be purchased by any citizen and it allows up to 4 trips, one by Metrô and three by bus, within 3 hours, at the cost of just one fare. In the Metrô and train systems, the integration is valid up to two hours from the first bus validation.

When used more than once on the subway, the temporality between one use and another is:
– 30 minutes if the user board the same line and station other than the previous boarding;
– 60 minutes if the user embarks on the same line and same station of the previous shipment;
– 60 minutes at stations integrated with CPTM or Via Quatro.

It is intended for students and teachers of primary, secondary and high schools, technical and vocational education, upon request of the school. It allows up to 4 trips in 2 hours, at only half of the cost.

Ensures free shuttle bus transport in the city for the elderly (men aged 65 or older and women aged 60 or more) and to Special Passengers (people with physical, hearing or visual disability). Obese and pregnant women, from the fifth month on, also have the benefit of leaving the bus by the front door as long as they pay the regular fare. Metrô and CPTM integration is not allowed.


INTEGRATED SINGLE TICKET

It is a ticket which allows up to four trips, one via train or subway and the remainders via any other bus system in the city of São Paulo, through the payment of a R$ 6.80 integration fare. It is valid for the common ticket and the transport voucher. Besides, you can enjoy the convenience of the “Bilhete Único” (Single Ticket) card, regardless of integration. Use your credits to pass through the turnstiles of CPTM and Metrô stations with validations installed.

THE “BILHETE ÚNICO” (SINGLE TICKET) OFFERS THE FOLLOWING INTEGRATION POSSIBILITIES:

First Trip, starting at a Train or Metrô

R$ 3.80 are charged on the card when the passenger goes through the turnstile on the Metrô or CPTM. The R$ 3.00 difference is charged at the first bus validation. The user continues with the right to pick up two more buses, without paying any more, within a period of three hours between the first and last validation of the ticket.

First Trip, starting on a Bus

R$ 3.80 are charged on the card when the passenger goes through the validator on the bus, with the right to pick up two more buses within a period of three hours after the first validation. The R$ 3.00 difference is charged on the Metrô or CPTM turnstile, up to two hours since the first validation on the bus.

HOW DOES THE “BILHETE ÚNICO” (SINGLE TICKET) WORKS ON THE BUS:

On the bus, the passenger pays R$ 3.80 and may complete up to 4 trips in 3 hours. When the passenger boards the first bus, R$ 3.80 are charged on the card. Thereafter, for the period of three hours, the next three boardings are not charged.

    The Magnetic Single Ticket for Line 5-Lilac is no longer sold. If you still have this ticket, it will remain valid and may be used.

    The Brás, Luz, Palmeiras-Barra Funda and Santo Amaro Stations, just as Ponte Orca, are areas of free tranfers.

EARLY RISER FARE

On March 9th, 2009, a method called Early Riser Fare was implemented, for those who use the Metrô and the metropolitan train systems in the morning.

The value of the Early Riser Fare is R$ 3.40 and benefits passengers who have the “Bilhete Único (Single Ticket)” card, category Comum (Common), Transport Vouchers and who use the system at the following hours:

    METROPOLITAN TRAIN: from 04:00am to 05:35am


This Fare discount is not available for passengers who are users of Fidelity Cards, Leisure Cards and Student and Teacher’s Cards.

The user of the Early Riser Fare can also integrate with the Urban Buses in the city of São Paulo, at a R$ 6.10 fare.

R$ 3.40 are charged on the card when the user passes through the turnstile on the Metrô or CPTM. The R$ 2.70 difference is charged at the first bus validation. The passenger maintains the right to pick up two more buses, without any extra charge, within a period of three hours between the first and last validation of the card.

R$ 3.80 are charged on the card when the user passes through the bus validation, the R$ 2.30 difference is charged on the Metrô or CPTM turnstile, within the integration fare period.

After the card reading, performed by the machines installed on the station turnstiles, you have up to 20 seconds to pass through. Enough time to make it calmly.

The “Bilhete Único Especial” (Special Single Ticket), for passengers with a disability, is accepted in all Metrô Stations.


HOURLY FARE

On October 15, 2012, the HOURLY FAR was introduced on metro Line 5 – Violet and São Paulo Metropolitan Rail Company Line 9 – Emerald riders.

The HOURLY FARE is R$ 3.40 for one-way trips and directed at riders with Unified Basic Fare Cards and Transportation Vouchers who use the system between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

The reduced fare does not apply to riders with Fidelity, Leisure, Student, and Teaching Professional Cards.

HOURLY FARE users may also ride São Paulo city buses for R$ 6.10.

R$ 3.40 are debited from cards each time riders pass through Metro or São Paulo Metropolitan Rail Company – CPTM turnstiles, while the remaining R$ 2.70 is debited at the fare-box on the first bus boarded. Riders may board two more buses without paying any additional fare within a three-hour span from the first card validation to the last.

R$ 3.80 are debited from the card by fare-box validators, while the remaining R$ 2.30 is debited at Metro or São Paulo Metropolitan Rail Company – CPTM turnstiles during use of the integrated fare card.


FREE METRÔ-BUS INTEGRATION

As of October 15, 2012, riders on the Largo Treze line have a new option: the FREE METRO – BUS INTEGRATION service.

To use the service, riders validate their card at new transfer validators located in the access corridor to the Largo Treze bus station (Line 5 – Violet).

Instructions for validating your card:

  • Pass through the turnstile and locate the validation machine;
  • Insert your card in the machine;
  • Board the bus using the same card.

With a validated card, riders may board any São Paulo city bus line within a period of three hours without paying an additional integration fare.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Integration is free of charge from metro (or rail service) lines to bus lines within a period of three hours.

Free integration is only available at the Largo Treze Station (Metro Line 5 – Violet and São Paulo Metropolitan Rail Line 9 – Emerald).

The service is available every day, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

DON'T FORGET TO VALIDATE YOUR CARD BEFORE BOARDING.
If your card is not validated, the integration fare will be debited by the bus' fare-box validator.


ATTENTION: If a passenger leaves a train or Metrô station and then returns, it will be charged a new fare and the integration period is reset.
