GOVERNOR CARVALHO PINTO (TIETÊ) BUS TERMINAL

The Governor Carvalho Pinto (Tietê) Bus Terminal, opened in 1982, is the largest bus station in the country. It is located in the 1800 Cruzeiro do Sul Avenue, in the neighborhood of Vila Guilherme, near the Metrô Portuguesa-Tietê Station.

61 companies run in this bus terminal, operating around 300 lines – there are approximately 3,000 vehicles leaving and arriving daily, from 1,033 cities, 21 Brazilian states and four Southern Cone countries (Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay).
