BARRA FUNDA INTER-MUNICIPAL BUS TERMINAL

On December 20th, 1989, the Barra Funda Bus Terminal started its operation. It is the largest intermodal terminal of the system, connecting The Metrô, the suburban and long distance trains, urban and interstate buses. In an area of 17,700 m², it receives approximately 40,000 users per day, and it is located at 664 Mário de Andrade Street– in the Barra Funda neighborhood, near Palmeiras-Barra Funda Station.

There are 28 boarding and 12 arrivals platforms used to attend the 34 bus companies, operating 139 lines and covering 573 cities across six states in the Southeast, South, North and Midwest Areas of the country, including the city of Porto Soares, Bolivia.
